Bill has been substitute teaching whenever he gets called for the high school level. He hesitantly tried a middle school classroom and vowed never to do that again. He had a trying day yesterday even with the highschoolers, but he is back at it again today. He has been home now for over three months with no assignments from KBA. We are thankful that the checks have continued to come in. His company did make a major sale to a New York paper, but he wouldn't have an assignment on that for over a year yet.
Esther and I have just four more weeks of classes. Esther gave a speech yesterday on a topic she is quite familiar with - coffee. More specifically it was "the health benefits of drinking coffee." She did her research, wrote the paper, & practiced for us. You always know who has to give a presentation on campus because they are dressed in their best clothes. Esther looked her best too. She came home elated, having given her speech first, and being told that she had set the bar high for the others.
Elisabeth and Ruth are practicing a duet for their piano recital in late April. Their piano teacher asked if they would like to do a duet together and they both answered "no"!, but the next week she had a song picked out for them to do together.
Ruth is going to post some exciting news soon.
Ben is working part-time at Bella Vita with the girls. We are looking forward to him finding something full-time and maybe using Bella Vita as a part-time job.
March is a busy month of birthdays at our house and we will finish up with the last one this Saturday. Bill turns 55!!!

You always have so much excitement in your family. I'm anxious to hear Ruth's news.
Has Dad gotten my card yet?
Where do Elisabeth and Ruth take piano lessons? What duet will they be playing?
The name of the duet is "Dixie Doodle", and they will each be playing their own song also. Their teacher lives in Edwardsburg and they both enjoy lessons with her (even though she is making them do a duet.) I'm sure that anyone who wants to come to the recital will be welcome. I can let you know what the exact date is when I find out.
