End of an era

Tuesday marks the end of an era. I have a dentist appointment with Dr. Olsen. This is his last week in the office. He is retiring. After 38 years it will be time to find a new dentist. He has a new dentist taking over the practice. But I don't want to make that trip out to Paw Paw twice a year just for a cleaning.

It is. . .

Hi Everyone! I'm sorry I couldn't post a comment yesterday. For some reason this web site wasn't cooperating on my computer. Any ways, we are having a BOY!! We are very excited and trying to teach liam that he is going to have a baby brother. He still thinks the baby is in his tummy too, so we have a ways to go:) The ultra sound was so neat to watch. I can kind of make out things now since I had a few with Liam. We could see the hand turning into a fist and then letting go, and he just didn't stay still. I hope this isn't a prediction of what he will be like when he is a toddler! We are still working on names. We have a lot we like but we are still working on the whole "agreeing on it" thing:) The doctor said he is 6 oz and right on track for his delivery date of Nov 11th. Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi Everybody,

Lets see if this works. I just bought a 1997 Ford F350 for $900.00. It was in Greensboro, North Carolina. We went down through West Virginia to Winston Salem. As we were going through the Blue Ridge Mountains the sun hadn't come up yet, but the farms below were outlined by fence rows with dots of light coming on in all the houses. We got a little lost around Greensboro, but circled back. I asked for directions at the Jamestown City Hall from a city worker in a service truck, and he laughed at my accent and told me I was on the right road. The car rental lady in Greensboro liked the name Kalamazoo where I went to return the rental we drove down with. I had a funny problem with one brake on the truck that would have fixed itself, it got a piece of gravel between the rotor and backing plate that made quite a squeel. I saved it for Sharon because she saves rocks from places she's been, like Lucy. This one is highly polished on one side. I took it out at the motel in Greensboro, where I changed the oil, too. We came back through the Smokey Mountains on our way to London Kentucky where we spent two nights and half a day in the library. I got lost there, too, and had to stop at the Farmer's Market and ask directions from someone else that thought my accent was funny, and I bought some strawberrys. We got out to where they cut down some mountains to make a flatter London and found the library. Sharon looked up a lot of stuff about her Father's family, the Jacksons and the Johnsons who had been there since there was a Kentucky. We came home through Ohio and Indiana and saw Wilbur Wright's birthplace in Indiana and got lost again. I asked for directions, but no one had an accent any more. Actually Sharon claims I have a slight Indiana accent. When we got to Michigan and on I-94 and got past Battle Creek Angel started setting up and sniffing, she realized we were almost back to Kalamazoo. When I got home there was a couple calls for me to pick up some junk, and I left right away and got my first truck load.
