Hunter's 1st Birthday Party!

Hunter had a great 1st birthday today he got lots of presents and enjoyed looking at the cake! He had a Blue's Clues/Sesame Street Party! Gavin was a little confused about all those presents and none were for him. Hunter will share! We Love you Hunter!!!!

Thanksgiving

Dinner will be at 1:00 on Thanksgiving. Anyone who can make it is welcome. We will be celebrating Alyssa's birthday too......so there will be birthday cake along with pumpkin pie! Bobby and Caity wanted to make Hunter's first birthday a little special. So we will be having a celebration of Hunter turning One Year Old on Saturday afternoon. Everyone is welcome!

The Benson Family Christmas!

It's a Snow Day........and Christmas is coming soon. How exciting! Boy, am I behind though. It has been such a long time since we have all gotten together. We are planning to celebrate Christmas this year on the 21st at around 1:00. As you know, we decided not to do the usual gift exchange for grown ups. But there are plenty of kids to give gifts to.....for anyone interested.
Here is the run-down: Ruth (14), Riley (7), Kayden (5), Alyssa (will be 4), Gavin (2), Liam (2), Hunter (will be 1), Arden (1 month), and Fallon Wilkes (due Jan.29th). If any parents would like to make suggestions, feel free to add those as comments. Don't forget Dad/ Grandpa.
One of our family projects on the 21st is going to be a constructing gingerbread house competition. We will be working within each of our family units...so you may want to do some studying up.
Everyone was so inspiring with ideas to replace the gift exchange. It brought to mind one of my favorite movies, "Pay it Forward". I was thinking how blessed we are to each be an important piece of the whole Benson Family puzzle. Like the little boy in the movie, I think each of us should take the opportunity this Christmas season to "pay it forward". Each of us has unique talents and interests. Maybe during this season we can take a look around and notice some things we can do to make a difference in the lives of those around us.

This is Arden! We have a ton more pics but they are still on our camera. Drew should have some time tomorrow to get them onto the computer. There are alot of cute pictures of Liam and Arden together.

Arden is pretty jaundice and has to lay on a billi lamp most of the time, but he is a real good baby. He loves to sleep! I feel so blessed, he is pretty content even when he is awake:) He is a very sweet baby, and him and Liam are getting along great. Liam just loves to hug him and kiss him and is always asking to hold him. We go back to the doctors to get his billi checked again on the 20th and hopefully we can take him off the billi light. He also has to get his tongue clipped next week, he is tongue tied just like Liam was. Drew's parents came in to help out and just left Thursday night. It was so nice to have them here to help. I'm looking forward to this Friday when Jennifer and Gretchen come to help:) Thank you everyone for all of your prayers! They were greatly appreciated!

Baby Arden

Arden was born around 10:30 last night. He is tiny about 6lb 5oz but healthy and he looks like Liam. Drew will send pictures when he gets a chance.
