Last Weekend

Soon we will get a post up with a couple exciting events from last weekend. Paul and Judy celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary. Although a smaller group than usual, there was an annual trip to the pumpkin patch too.

Grandpa's 88th Birthday

Grandpa had a great Birthday! We had a wonderful meal, made hand print shirts and played several old fashioned games. Here are a few pictures to recap the day.

Birthday Party

One of the activites planned for Grandpa's Birthday is hand prints on shirts. I got shirts for all the little kids. I will also get one for grandpa that everyone can put a hand print on. If anyone else wants to make a shirt with hand prints just bring a shirt. Let me know if you plan to make a shirt to and I will make sure I have enough paint!! See everyone on Sunday.

Waterpark Fun

We had our annual trip to Deep River Waterpark on Sat. The trip included Gretchen, Emily, Liam, Riley, Kayden and I. It wasn't very busy so we didn't have to wait in line, that was really nice. It got a little cloudy by the end of the day but not too bad. Liam was a little frightened at the big slides but a bribe of ice cream and he went down screaming. We thought after he went down one he would be fine. Boy were we wrong he hated it, not even ice cream would get him up another one. Riley and kayden were old enough they could go down my them selves which they thought was really cool. Of course they had there stories to tell their mom about how they almost drowned in the water and no one cared! All in all in was a great day and it ended with a stick of sugar the kids enjoyed all the way home

Double 8

Dad has been pretty excited lately that on his birthday next month he will be 88! He has been asking me if it is September yet. His birthday is on a Friday, September 18. We are going to have a Mass for him on that day. I had thought the following Sunday would be when we could have a party for him. We have been talking about some old fashioned games ie. 3 legged race, egg toss, etc. for anyone so inclined. Dad probably won't be able to participate much, but he will enjoy watching. Will that day work for anyone who would plan to be here?

Day at the Park

This was a park in inday that we went to a couple weeks ago and forgot to put pictures up. We had a great time! We had a picnic lunch and then played on the play ground and water area too! Even the babies had a good time.
